Why do you visit me,
In the cover of the night?
When I don’t want to see you,
Why do you arrive?

You creep up as a feeling,
From my stomach I feel it grow.
As it spreads to my fingertips,
You won’t listen “No”.

The feelings turn into thoughts.
That I hear, see and remember.
Why do you bring up everything?
Those things I burnt to embers.

I know you’re passing through.
Like yesterday, you will be gone.
But in this very moment.
It’s to you that I am drawn.

Every night you come to visit,
I feel your powers weaken.
I wait for the day I’ll wake up,
And you will be beaten.
